Before you get in touch.
Do we need to organise anything before getting in touch?
No. The current state of the file is the information the review is assessing. Preparing it first tends to delay the conversation by months, and in several cases we have seen a two year problem become a four year one for exactly that reason.
Is the file review genuinely free?
The initial conversation and high level assessment of your file carry no fee and no obligation. Where a full forensic diagnostic is warranted, that is a scoped and quoted engagement with the figure agreed before it begins. No work is started that has not been authorised.
How quickly do you respond?
Within one business day and usually sooner. Where a CRA deadline is involved, note it in the first line and the enquiry is prioritised.
Will you tell us if we do not need you?
Yes. Sometimes the books are sound and the problem sits elsewhere in the business. Sometimes the work is better handled by a specialist we can refer you to. Either answer costs you nothing to receive.
Do you work with businesses outside Toronto?
Yes. We are based in Toronto and Vaughan and work with clients across Canada. Engagements run remotely as standard, with secure file access and scheduled video reviews.
